波 霸 酒 區 位 於 葡 國 南 部 高 阿 寧 打 素 的 東 面  , 這 裹 的 土 壤 大 部 份 屬 於 結 晶 石 灰 岩 , 氣 候 夏 天 非 常 炎 熱 , 而 冬 天 經 常 寒 冷 , 這 裹 種 植 的 葡 萄 直 至 十 月 底 才 成 熟  .  之 後 , 著 名 的 波 霸 酒 廠 將 成 熟 之 葡 萄 在 秋 天 氣 候 下 發 酵 , 成 長 於 精 制 酒 缸 內 , 因 此 波 霸 紅 酒 酒 質 濃 郁 , 酒 體 豐 厚 , 入 口 醇 喉 及 有 獨 特 果 香 味 , 酒 色 似 櫻 桃 紅. 葡 萄 種 類 包 含 有 比 利 吉 打 , 連 格 地 亞 及 亞 拉 貢 利 士 . 因 此 , 波 霸 紅 酒 配 合 菜 式 為 紅 肉 及 白 肉 , 海 鮮 及 貝 殼 類 , 尤 以 配 合 魚 翅 湯及 中 國 菜 . 波 霸 紅 酒 引 入 市 場 己 超 逾 十 年 , 並 成 為 銷 量 第 一 之 紅 酒.
B orba demarcated region is located at the East of Alto     Alentejo.   Almost all vineyards are planted on clay soil     and develop under the intense cold and scorching heat     of the Alentejo plains.  The  malturation of the grapes is     late, prolonged the harvest until the end of October. L ater, under the mild  Autumn of Alentezo, the fermentation     starts and  ageing in cement and is more important than in     wood. It brings the wine concentrated, cherry-like red, rich     creamy and complex aroma. T he grapes are Periquita, Trincadeira and Aragonez.  And     serve with red and white meat, seafood and shellfish,     especially goes with shark fin soup and Chinese dishes.
